In response to feedback from our clients we have spent the last 2 years researching and developing a brand new range of cylinder coatings that will help to increase the lifespan and durability of your hydraulics cylinders.
As a result, we are proud to announce the launch of a complete Apex AS Coating range, each of which has been tailored to meet the specific requirements of a different industry; including mining, offshore, subsea, recycling and steel.
In a challenging environment, a standard coating of hard chrome just isn’t up to the job anymore. By replacing this coating with our high end solution, you can improve your cylinders’ resistance to corrosion, wear and impact. Our coatings have been subjected to rigorous field testing and have a proven ability to extend cylinder life, so customers taking part in the research have already reported excellent results.
Apex AS Coatings also have an ecological advantage over a hard chrome coating, which creates harmful hexavalent chromium as a by-product of its production. If we can reduce hard chrome cylinder coatings, it will support our commitment to reduce the environmental impact of our business.
